Informa estimates the U.S. market year cotton production in 2008/09 to 13,545,000 package, the annual market forecast 2008/09 U.S. Pima cotton production is 459,000 packets per unit area yield of cotton per acre for 830 pounds.

Dealers said Informa cut their land to the U.S. cotton production forecast to 13,086,000 package, in September in the United States Department of Agriculture supply and demand report estimated 13,387,000 for the package.
